KILL
You just described DoorDash to DoorDash's face and expected a prize — this isn't a startup, it's a memory of 2013 wearing a fresh domain name.
A food delivery marketplace that fulfills orders from local restaurants lacking their own delivery by dispatching part-time gig drivers to pick up and deliver.
The reasoning
Why it dies
Every single word of this already exists at billion-dollar scale, and 'restaurants that don't offer delivery' is precisely the long tail Uber Eats and DoorDash already crawled through years ago with logistics networks, driver density, and fraud teams you cannot replicate on a launch budget. Food delivery is a brutal three-sided marketplace with margins thinner than the receipt — the incumbents lose money on it WITH scale, and you'd be losing it without. You have no driver supply, no restaurant supply, no demand, and no reason for any of the three to pick you over the app already glowing on their phone. There is no wedge, no 'why now,' and no unfair edge — just a commodity you'd have to subsidize into a grave.
What would save it
Kill the horizontal 'all restaurants' fantasy. The only survivable version is a hyper-narrow wedge the giants ignore: e.g., a single dense niche (one college campus, late-night-only, one ethnic-food corridor exclusive restaurants refuse to list on big apps) where you own supply the incumbents can't get, and where restaurants pay YOU because you drive incremental orders they'd otherwise never fulfill. Own something the platforms structurally can't — or don't bother building this at all.
